Honolulu Police say the warrant for Socrates Lagon has been recalled and he is no longer on their wanted list.
Lagon was accused of attacking a woman and her friend as they sat in a car near Ewa Beach back on May 27, 2021.
Officials did not say why the warrant was recalled. No other information has been released.
HONOLULU -- A warrant has been issued for a man who was arrested for attacking a woman and her friend with a baseball bat at Ewa Beach in late May.
A $20,000 bench warrant was issued for Socrates Lagon after he failed to appear in court to face charges for the alleged assault at Ewa Beach, Honolulu Police officials said.
The incident occurred on May 27 around 2 a.m. According to police, the victim was sitting in a car with her friend at the beach when Lagon approached. The victim said Lagon shattered the driver’s side window with a baseball bat before hitting her with it at least one time.
The victim managed to escape and call the police. Responding officers found Lagon nearby and arrested him on complaints of second-degree assault and fourth-degree property damage. He was also later charged for possession of crystal meth.
He was scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 21 but did not show for that hearing. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300. According to police, Lagon have five prior convictions and is known to frequent the Ewa Beach area.
