4 new COVID-related deaths, 218 new infections recorded in Hawaii, DOH reports

Here's a list of COVID-19 vaccine clinics held statewide

HONOLULU -- The Hawaii State Department of Health Hawaii (DOH) reported four new deaths related to COVID-19 and 218 new infections on Saturday. The total number of deaths now stands at 1,002.

Statewide test positivity over the last seven days is 1.4% -- Honolulu County is 1.4%, Hawaii County is 2.3%, Maui County is 1.3%, and Kauai County is 2.8%.

Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 86,740 total infections to date.

The new infections on each island stands as follows:

Oahu: 122

Hawaii Island: 50

Maui: 20

Kauai: 19

Molokai: 1

Lanai: 0

There were 6 new cases reported from out-of-state visitors.

There have been 1,581 COVID cases reported in the last 14 days and 4,960 cumulative hospitalizations – 72.3% of the population is fully vaccinated. Nearly 144,639 residents have also received their COVID-19 booster shot.

The percentage of completed vaccinations per county stands as follows:

Honolulu County: 75%

Hawaii County: 68%

Maui County: 65%

Kauai County: 68%
