Wet and windy weather will continue for another couple of days as an upper level disturbance lingers west of the islands. We'll have on-and-off rains for the remainder of the weekend, with a chance of isolated thunderstorms.

Strong easterly trade winds are blowing 15-25 MPH.

There's a Flash Flood Warning for Maui County and the Big Island with a Flash Flood Watch for all islands. Windward and mauka spots will have the highest chances of flooding. Landslides are possible near steep slopes.

We may get drier weather Tuesday and Wednesday but another disturbance will bring more rain Thursday and Friday. A drier trade wind flow may develop by next weekend.

The wind swell is causing a High Surf Advisory for East-facing shores with CHOPPY 8-12 foot waves.
