O'ahu businesses see boost from Hawaii Bowl visitors
On Tuesday, the Hawaii Bowl will be played at Aloha Stadium. The University of Hawaii is going up against long-time rival BYU and local businesses are already scoring off of the Rainbow Warrior's opponents.
Hotels like the Sheraton in Waikiki says it has seen a number of guests from Utah come to watch the game in person.
The Hawaii Lodging and Tourism Association says visitor spending not just helps hotels but also other businesses.
Yard House claims they see a 10 to 15 percent increase in customers on game day.
Local tourism companies have also seen a boost
The Hawaii Bowl game will start at 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
