Next Saturday will mark the 78th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.

On Sunday, an event called History Day is kicking of a week long campaign to educate the public.

It is put on by non-profit group Pacific Historic Parks.

There were 16 education booths at the entrance of the Pearl Harbor Visitors Center.

It's a family friendly event meant to provide resources for those visiting the memorial.

They will have activities Monday through Wednesday from 8 am to Noon. On Thursday they will also hold their first peace symposium for the public at 5pm.

Saturday's event is part of this week's Road To History series at the memorial.
