Hilo (14-0) defeated 'Iolani (10-3), in this year's Division I State Football Championship off a 55-yard field goal as time expired. Keanu Keolanui hit the game winner as the fans who made the trip from the Big Island erupted at Aloha Stadium on Friday night.

Vikings got it done in come from behind fashion. The Raiders struck first with a 44-yard field goal by Wailoa Manuel. 'Iolani quarterback Jonah Chong added to that lead in the first quarter. He made it 10-0 Raiders with a two-yard touchdown run.

Keanu Keolanui got the first Viking points of the game with a 47-yard field goal in the second quarter.

Then just before the players headed to the locker rooms at the half, Meki Pei of the Raiders returned a punt 94-yards to make it 17-3 'Iolani.

Hilo didn't get a touchdown till 1:40 of the third quarter. Kilohana Haasenritter rushed for a six-yard score to make it a one possession game.

It was in the fourth quarter the Vikings were able to close the gap. Kyan Miyasato hit Guyson Ogata from 78-yards out to tie the game at 17 points.

Then as time expired, Keolanui bounced a 55-yard field goal off the crossbar for the Hilo 20-17 go-ahead win.
