The One Mission Center in Waimalu extended a delicious thank you to local heroes.
The congregation dropped off Thanksgiving meals to first responders Thursday.
Volunteers cooked and brought all the food to the Waimalu Elementary School, before hitting the road.
The group sent four different cars to four different fire and police stations in the Aiea-Pearl City area.  Members said this Thanksgiving and always, they're thankful for the people putting their lives on the line to keep the community safe.
It was beaming smiles and full bellies all around.
Turkey, ham, stuffing, and pumpkin pie were brought to the Pearl City police station.
Sam's club donated paper goods and beverages, while One Mission Center parishioners provided all the food.
