For almost three years, Hawaiian Airlines flight attendants say contract negotiations have stalled for almost three years, and now presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders is speaking up on their behalf.

Monday, Sanders took to social media to share his support for Hawaiian Airlines flight attendants as they presented him with a lei.

Numerous demonstrations have happened at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport as a way to inform the public of their current stance. They want better pay and other benefits.

More than 2,100 flight attendants are set to vote count on Wednesday on whether a strike will commence.
