Hawaii-born celebrity triples award for driver that killed her cousin
Hawaii-born celebrity Nicole Scherzinger is pleading for the person who killed her cousin in a hit and run accident in Florida to come forward.
A car hit 35-year-old John Frederick III - two weeks ago - at a Fort Lauderdale intersection.
Officials pronounced him dead at the scene.
Detectives said the driver did not stop.
Scherzinger said she and Frederick are cousins and grew up together in Hawaii.
The singer, actress and current "Masked Singer" judge says she will triple the Broward County Crime Stoppers' reward offered for information leading to the driver's arrest.
