KALIHI, Hawaii - The 16-year-old boy who was shot in Kalihi has been identified by the medical examiner as Starsky Willy.   

Late Thursday night, Honolulu Police officers were sent to an area outside of Kalihi Valley Homes for a suspicious circumstance case.  

Upon arrival, police determined that 50-year-old Richard Obrero fired several shots at a group of males, including Willy.

Willy was shot in the torso and transported by Emergency Medical Services to a nearby hospital in critical condition and later died. 

Police located the Obrero a short time later on Kula Kolea Drive.

He is charged with one count of murder, three counts of attempted murder and a firearm violation. 

He is being held on $1 million bail.
