Hawaii Senator Tulsi Gabbard has qualified for the next Democratic debate in Atlanta, Georgia on November 20.

She has reached the new Democratic National Committee (DNC) criteria -- which includes polling at at least four percent in three polls, and collecting donations from more than 200,000 individual supporters.

Gabbard has been critical of the DNC debate criteria and even threatened to boycott past debates.

Wednesday, she appeared on The View and was asked if she would consider running as anything other than a Democrat.

"No. I've been asked that for months and every time I say no. Because I'm running to build a new Democratic party. To take our party out of the hands of the corporate special interest so that our Democratic party is a part of, by and for the people," Gabbard stated.

Gabbard has not yet qualified for December's debate.
