HPD denies more allegations of misconduct in wind farm arrests
Acting Honolulu Police Chief, John McCarthy, held a press conference Friday to discuss allegations of police misconduct during this week's wind farm arrests.
Kent Fonoimoana, 62, claims that police twisted his fingers when they were bound behind his back.
He says that this happened as he was led into a police van.
This is the second time this week that Honolulu Police are disputing claims of mistreatment of arrestees.
Earlier this week, Stetson “Mana” Morales, 18, claimed that officers reportedly punched him and used a taser on him, all while he allegedly still had chains around his neck.
