Death row exoneree arrested in attempt to leave the state
A former Delaware death row inmate was arrested at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport trying to leave the state.
According to the Department of Public Safety, Isaiah McCoy booked a flight to Los Angeles, California.
He was arrested for violating the rules of his release which say he must stay in the state.
Last month McCoy was charged with allegedly robbing a man in Waikiki and he has a long history of run-ins with the law.
In the past, McCoy has also faced federal charges for sex trafficking but charges were eventually dismissed.
