After going undefeated 9-0 to start her professional MMA career, in July Mililani High School grad Angela lee suffered her second straight loss while brother Christian Lee had just previously made history. Stunned the MMA world in May claiming the ONE Championship lightweight world title with a TKO.

The Lee siblings, the only siblings to ever win MMA world titles are coming off different results and have different fight plans here in the coming months. For Angela that last fight her title belt wasn't up for grabs and the previous loss was in a different division trying to become a two class world champion. Now a rematch awaits from that fight as Xiong Jingnan will come down to the Atomweight and try to steal the belt from Lee in Tokyo on October 13th.

"Of course I was disappointed and bummed. Went through a little time where I just needed to clear my head and rethink things but after that I kind of used these losses as motivation. I never really had that urgency even in my last fight coming off a loss from March so I think that right now is a crucial time for me," Angela Lee said.

For current lightweight world champion Christian Lee he told us he expects to fight in 2019 but when, where, and against who to be determined but does not expect it to be with his current belt on the line.

"Definitely going to be defending the title soon but right now they have the lightweight Grand Prix going on so right now I still got to wait for the winner of that to defend my belt. In the meantime I am looking to get another belt," Christian Lee said.
