A 27-year old man was stabbed twice in the chest on Thursday in the area of Kuhaulua and Api'i Streets in Waipahu.

Honolulu Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene around 10:57 p.m., treated and transported the man to the hospital where he later died. 

According to Honolulu Police, the two men involved were acquaintances at a social gathering when they got into an argument and the 26-year-old male suspect stabbed the victim.

The man was arrested for second-degree murder.
