One person is hurt after an alleged drunk driver sideswiped an ambulance truck.

According to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services it had its lights and sirens on near the intersection of Vineyard Boulevard and Punchbowl Street when the incident occurred.

 The 55-year-old medic was injured but is expected to be okay.

Police arrested the other driver -- 42-year-old Michael Gerard Kozak.

The EMT driver and the patient were not injured, and the ambulance has been taken out of service for repairs.
