HILO, Hawaii - Rumors of a law enforcement sweep before dawn on Monday morning are going viral on social media. The post warns supporters to "be ready for more than 2,000 law enforcement officers to sweep out all kia'i ... allowing TMT construction to access Mauna Kea."

The Hawaii Island mayor's office told KITV4 it hasn't heard anything. A Honolulu Star Advertiser story on Sunday says Mayor Harry Kim heard nothing about it, and he had in-depth discussions about Mauna Kea last Thursday and Friday.

Mayor Kim told the newspaper, "If I had money to bet, I'd bet anything I had that it won't happen."
