Central East Maui played its final game of this year's Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania on Sunday.

The West region champions from Hawaii faced Japan, the International runner-up, for third place in this year's tournament.

And it was Japan that would strike first. Daiki Kobari ripped an RBI double in the first inning. Yuto Kakeba drove in another. Chofu Little League led 3-0 till the 6th inning when they tacked on two more. 

Shiloh Gilliland of Hawaii allowed seven hits in the 5-0 loss. Japan's starting pitcher Yuto Misaki got the win.

Hawaii wraps up its run in this year's Little League World Series at 3-2. The team is expected to arrive back home on Maui at around 2:42 p.m. on Monday.
