A High Surf Advisory is posted for south facing shores until Thursday morning. Surf along south facing shores will be 7 to 10 feet this morning, rising to 10 to 14 feet late this afternoon and tonight, then lowering to 7 to 10 feet Wednesday. Surf along west facing shores will be 4 to 7 feet this morning, rising to 7 to 10 feet late this afternoon and tonight, then lowering to 4 to 7 feet Wednesday. Surf along east facing shores will be 2 to 4 feet and north 1-3 feet.
A Small Craft Advisory goes into effect (Maalaea Bay, Pailolo Channel, Alenuihaha Channel, Big Island Leeward Waters, Big Island Southeast Waters) from 6 P.M. Tuesday evening to 6 P.M. Thursday. Expecting Northeast winds 15-25 kt, seas 7-10'.
