The Hawaiian Humane Society's part of a nationwide adoption event this weekend -- looking to find a forever homes for some of it's animals.

The event is called "Clear the Shelters" -- and everything from dogs, cats, turtles and chinchillas are up for adoption.  All fees will be waived, and microchipping, neutering and other services will be free.

"Our main goal is to find these guys homes. We're so excited to have that opportunity for the community to come out and bring home a new feathered, fury, or maybe even scaly family member," said HHS Communications Manager Suzy Tam.

The event is at the Humane Society in Mo'ili'ili this Saturday -- starting at 10 a.m.
