In 2016 and 2017 Josh Rojas played for UH baseball as a 3rd basemen and then was drafted in 2017 by the Houston Astros in the 26th round.

After a stellar few seasons in the minor leagues, Rojas was traded in late July from the Astros to the Arizona Diamondbacks as part of the deal for Zack Greinke.

Rojas was called up to the big leagues on Monday to make his MLB debut at Colorado and Rojas had a great game. Two hits, a run, and an RBI with his family there to watch.
