Death toll after Typhoon Lekima makes landfall in China rises
CHINA - 32 people are dead and 16 more missing after Typhoon Lekima made landfall Saturday morning.
According to state media, it happened around 7:45 AM Hawaii time and caused a landslide which in turn backed up a river before victims were swept away. More than one million people were evacuated before the storm struck. According to officials, this is the 9th typhoon to hit the country this year.
