United MMA brings back medals by the handful
United MMA is the home to ONE Championship title holders and sibling-duo Angela and Christian Lee. Now, the gym has even more members with World Championships.
Victoria and Adrian Lee, younger siblings of Angela and Christian are among those who brought home world championship medals from tournaments in Croatia and Rome in the past few weeks.
"Just to see them going through this whole journey and remembering that six or seven years ago I was going through the same journey, it's an indescribable feeling", said older sister Angela Lee and ONE atomweight women's world champion.
Having four world champions in the family at the same time was actually a summer goal made by the Lee's father, Ken Lee. And now after this year's World Martial Arts Games, that goal has become a reality.
"It's really like a dream come true for me. We've been working so hard and it's great that all of our work's finally paid off," said Victoria Lee. Victoria went on to describe how every member of her family has been a role model for her.
Joining Victoria and Adrian Lee on that winning wave in Europe, was fellow United MMA gym members Ethan Badayos, Kai Sekigawa, Angelina Calpito, and Logan Hackparth.
