Pretty soon it'll be time for the UH football team to hear the screams of hopefully over 50K packed into Aloha Stadium for the August 24th kickoff vs. Arizona but Saturday the Rainbow Warriors had a field day. For many the first time in their lifetime strapping it up in Halawa. Even for the seniors who have played many games on their home field the feeling never gets old.

"On our practice field we are trying to go hard, trying to compete but here it is just a whole different atmosphere. You really get that game feel experience just being on the turf," Senior captain Dayton Faruta said.

"It's so much more, just coming on as a walk on I understand the experience of trying to prove yourself and that just add to everything. The taste that is college football. We're playing for the University of Hawaii, we're playing for the state. A lot of younger guys are starting to recognize," Senior captain Kaimana Padello said.
