Food delivery drivers admit to taking a bite of their customers' order
Sure, it's easy to order from your couch when you're starving at home -- but instead of ordering from an app delivery service, you might want to make the drive to pick it up yourself.
A new study shows 28 percent of divers for those apps admit to taking food from their deliveries -- and more than half of those drivers say they have been tempted to just by the smell.
Although, only 21 percent of customers report suspecting their delivers drivers of taking a bite.
The national study showed the average consumer has two food deliver apps -- like Uber Eats, Grub Hub and Postmates -- and orders from them three times per month.
The study was created by the distributor U.S. Foods and gathered data from more than 1,500 respondents.
