Heard at the State Capitol Thursday afternoon -- more oli, or chants, in protest of the Governor's emergency proclamation.

Thursday's rally involved cultural practioners from the Ilio'ula-okalani Coaltion.

"When we stand for aloha aina, love of country, love of land, and love of our people, they don't get the message. Our aloha and our understanding by virtue of the band that you came today is proof that our culture and our people are alive. E'o!" said Hina Wong, who opposes the Thirty Meter Telescope.

The group was also responsible Wednesday's "Slow Down" convoy on the H-1 Freeway.

Honolulu Police say there were three drivers cited on H-1 west bound between UH and the Lunalilo offramp.  Two drivers were cited for non-compliance with speed limit -- an $82 fine. A third motorist was cited for having an expired tax emblem -- a $70 citation.
