Moanalua High School grad Tyler Ota won his 2nd Manoa Cup after previously taking the title back in 2015 with a 7 & 5 win over Evan Kawai. He is the first to win both the state amateur tournament & Manoa Cup in the same year. Also a 4-time HSGA Player of the Year.

"I always say that if i make 18 pars in a match play tournament and I lose one down I'm completely okay with that. I stuck to the game plan as best as I could, I think I only made 2 or 3 bogeys today, out here I would like to think that's pretty tough to beat," Tyler Ota said.

This is the 111th running of the Manoa Cup, the longest amateur tournament west of the Mississippi.
