Judge wants closed circuit broadcast in second courtroom for Kealoha Corruption Trial closing arguments
On June 21, 2013, exactly six years ago a mailbox was taken from Katherine and Louis Kealoha's home. A lot has happened since.
The corruption trial against the Kealohas and three Honolulu Police officers is well underway.
Closing arguments will be next week.
Judge Michael Seabright expects a large number of people will want to listen to closing arguments. He said he wants a closed circuit broadcast in a second courtroom so people can watch.
Friday, Judge Seabright and the attorneys for both the defense and prosecution began reviewing jury instructions. Judge Seabright will read those to jurors before they deliberate.
