HONOLULU - We all knew it was expensive to live in paradise, but a new report breaks down the numbers it takes to live in Honolulu.
Honolulu residents who earn $71,000 a year would have to save for 40 years before they could pay the down payment on a median priced home. That's according to a new report released by investment company Unison.
The study can be read here and ranks Honolulu as the second-least affordable city in the country, right behind Los Angeles.
