Ka Iwi Coalition plans guided tours to celebrate conservation success
The Ka Iwi Coalition has guided tours planned for the month of June to experience the Ka Iwi lands that Hawaii's community fought to protect.
After decades of trying to preserve an East Oahu coastline from development, the community that now co-owns the land is starting to do guided tours.
With a goal to provide a cultural and historical site for visitors, the Ka Iwi Coalition has planned hikes for the month of June to celebrate the community conservation success. KITV4 is getting a chance to be a part of one of the first experiences.
