Saturday the UH men's volleyball team has a chance to lift the first national championship banner in program history. KITV4 Island Sports Director checks in with the Rainbow Warriors as they enjoy some pizza the night before it all gets underway at the Walter Pyramid vs. Long Beach State. They credit a lot of their success to the state of Hawaii and the support they have received.

"We desperately want to win for them every night. To see the amount of love and support that we get from the state of Hawaii, it may sound clique but it means more to us. It's not just another game, people in Hawaii this means a lot. To be a part of something that has brought the community together and everybody is talking about it, everyone is rallying around, we take a lot of pride in that. Glad to be a part of it," UH men's volleyball head coach Charlie Wade said.

KITV4 Island Sports will have the complete coverage of the National Championship game Saturday on KITV4 Island Sports at 5pm, 6pm, & 10pm. The 2pm showdown on Saturday can be seen on ESPN2.
