Kaka'ako Land Company claims to own some of Kaka'ako's most poorly maintained roads, and they charge people to park on those roads.

The company has been fined $250,000 by the Hawaii Community Development Authority and the deadline to pay is May 15th.

Fines are for sub-standard management of parts of Cummins, Kawaiaha'o, Clayton, Queen and Ilaniwai streets.

If the roads aren't fixed, HCDA plans to issue more violations.
