World's biggest airplane ran it's first test flight this weekend
The world's biggest airplane takes to the skies for the first time. Strato-launch ran a test flight this weekend, of a giant plane equipped with six engines and a wingspan of 385 feet. -That's longer than a football field-
The plane is designed to haul rockets and satellites high into the sky so they can be launched into space. Stratolaunch systems will offer the military, private companies and NASA a more economical way to get to space.
