Representative John Mizuno asked the Department of Transportation for a surveyor to review structural changes needed for a permanent solution to the Gulick Avenue Overpass Thursday after debris fell from it again Thursday afternoon.

Video shows that traffic was backed up again as well.

The Department of Transportation reports metal pieces fell into westbound lanes of the H-1 freeway around 1 p.m. Thursday.

At this time, it is unknown what caused the problem, whether the lowest overpass in the state was hit again or whether it was debris from the collision earlier in March.
