Back to the big dance for the Silverswords of Chaminade earning a spot in the D-2 NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2014 and 6th overall in the program. They will tip off on Friday in San Diego against Seattle Pacific at 11:30am.

"This is the rewards for a great season. Started off the season 10 and 0 we have been nationally ranked, almost the entire year. Had a really good conference season also. This is the opportunity to play in the NCAA tournament, something you always dream about and wish for," Chaminade Head Coach Eric Bovaird said.

"Our seed isn't as high to reflect our team but we know what we are capable of. End of the year is about peaking at the right time, and that is something that I hope we're doing," Senior Silverswords guard Grant Dressler said.

The Hawaii Pacific University women's basketball team also earned a trip to the NCAA D-2 Tournament and will face off against Alaska Anchorage on Friday at 9am.
