Lingering moisture from an old front will keep moderate to heavy rains mainly for the Big Island, with improving conditions from west to east this afternoon.  Big surf for North and West Shores.

For Maui and the Big Island a lot of instability will mean scattered rains with some heavier rains possible.  The Big Island remains under a Flash Flood Watch until 6 p.m. tonight. Cool, north winds at 15-20 mph and cool temperatures in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees.  High Wind Warning and a Winter Weather Advisory for Hawaii island summits.
