WAIKIKI - Renowned jazz trumpeter Eddie Henderson returns to Hawaii for a fourth year to headline at Halekulani's Live at Lewers Masters of Jazz series. Henderson’s performances on March 15 and 16 will pay tribute to Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner Art Blakey, a Big Band American jazz drummer and bandleader of the Jazz Messengers.  Tommy James on piano, Dean Taba on bass, and Noel Okimoto on drums will accompany Henderson during the concerts.

“Halekulani’s Live at Lewers series is a testament to our ongoing support to and appreciation of the musical and performing arts,” says Ulrich Krauer, general manager of Halekulani. “We are thrilled to welcome back jazz legend Eddie Henderson for these special concerts.”

Henderson will perform at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16. Tickets are $65 for VIP seating and $55 for general seating and includes complimentary valet parking. Reservations are required.
