HONOLULU - People across the nation are honoring the life and service of late former President George H.W. Bush.

A special train adorned with his name will transport Bush's casket Thursday to College Station, Texas before he is laid to rest.

Union Pacific Locomotive 4141 was unveiled in 2005 as a symbol of patriotism. The train was painted in the same colors as Air Force One -- the sixth time in history that non-tradition colors were used.

The Bush family spokesperson Jim McGrath shared a photo with the caption "mission complete."

The photo shows Bush's service dog Sully next to the casket of his owner. Sully accompanied bush one last time on a flight to the nation's capital for memorial services.

The 41st president died late Friday night at 94-years-old.
