WAIKIKI - Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell visited striking Marriott workers on Saturday morning as they picket for the 27th day. The workers are represented by Unite Here Local 5 and their contracts with the hotels' owner Kyo-Ya Hotels & Resorts is expired.

Their rallying cry has been that one job should be enough to live in Hawaii. Mayor Caldwell spoke to the workers, saying he hopes they can reach a deal that meets their demands.
