KEAAU, Hawaii - Keaau Elementary School received some much needed supplies from one well-known company.
Dakine donated backpacks to the school after it's enrollment increased due students displaced because of the eruption and hurricane on the island.
S. Tokunaga Store, Inc. was part of the special delivery and posted to Facebook, "Mahalo Dakine Company for your generous donation to our Big Island community."
The company donated 35 backpacks in total, hoping to make a positive impact on students after natural disasters ravaged the island.
