Heavy winds, rain and rescheduled flights due to Typhoon Jebi
Japan is getting hit with one of the strongest typhoons in decades. Typhoon Jebi is bringing storm surges and hitting the country with heavy winds and rain.
Japan's Meteorological Agency says it's the strongest typhoon to make landfall there since 1993. Just before it made landfall the storm was equivalent to a category 1 hurricane. Hundreds of flights in and out of Kansai Airpot in Osaka are cancelled.
Budget Airline Scoot is rescheduling flights bound for Honolulu. Meanwhile, Hawaiian Airlines is rescheduling and offering flight change fee waivers for any customers affected by the Typhoon today.
