HONOLULU (KITV) - Two more people were cited for being in a restricted area in Lower Puna over the weekend.
According to the Department of Land and Natural Resources, 31-year-old Colin Malone and 59-year-old Kent Davis-both from California-were ticketed on Pohoiki Road past Lava Tree State Monument on Sunday.
Under the governor's emergency proclamation, anyone caught loitering in a closed area faces up to $5,000 in fines and up to a year in jail.
