HONOLULU - If you were in Hawaii on January 13th, you probably remember what you did when you received an alert that a ballistic missile was on its way.

Now a new documentary chronicles the 38 minutes it took authorities to send a notification to the public that it was a false alarm.

The film includes interviews and footage taken from the day-of. One notable clip includes the family who hid in a storm drain, while their daughter says she doesn't want to go.

"Basically, I just said goodbye to him," one interviewee recounts through tears, "In that moment, I said 'I'll find you.'"

"This Is Not A Drill: 38 Minutes That Changed Lives," from directors Rob and Keiko Feldman is set to release Fall 2018.
