HONOLULU - The latest development in the trial case of former Honolulu Police Chief Louis Kealoha and his wife Katherine is another delay. This time, the Kealoha's have waived their right to a speedy trial.

The couple was indicted by a federal grand jury earlier this year, on charges of obstruction of justice and lying to a police officer. Those charges are in addition to conspiracy and bank fraud charges stemming from last year.

The trial for the Kealoha's won't begin until at least November of this year unless it's delayed again. Four other former and current police officers also face charges related to their case.
