HONOLULU (KITV) - Cracks in the pavement closed a section of the Pahoa Pohoiki Rd. between Highway 132 and Leilani Avenue.
In Leilani Estates, Kahukai St. is also closed between Makamae and Ho'okupu St.
Civil defense says it's an isolated area and there's no threat at the moment, but they are monitoring it.
With the recent tremors, neighbors are starting to worry about the possible damage to their homes.
Petra Wiesenbauer, a resident of Leilani Estates said, "The whole ground was vibrating, and not just in intervals, it was going on for like 30 minutes or as long as I was out here, you could feel, it was like a current under the road."
Residents are hoping the government keeps them updated.
