HONOLULU - Say goodbye to the old bus passes.

The city and county of Honolulu unveils how people will pay for transit, and more, in the future.

New holocards will be first used on the bus and handivan service, but will also be used to ride rail once it is up and running.

In addition to transit, expect to be able to pay for admission to other city venues and partnering attractions in the future

After pilot projects this year, island-wide use of the reloadable smart cards starts next January.
