Bruno Mars, Ho'okena, and Josh Tatofi receive Grammy nods
The 2018 Grammy nominations were announced Tuesday. Hawaii-born singer, Bruno Mars, received six nominations for his album 24K Magic, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year for "That's What I Like".
Jay-Z tops the leaders pack this year with eight nominations, while Kendrick Lamar picked up seven.
Hawaiian music will also be represented at the 60th Grammy Awards. In the Regional Roots category, Ho'okena was nominated for their album "Ho'okena 3.0" and Josh Tatofi for his album "Pua Kiele."
Winners will be revealed at the Grammy Awards show Jan. 28 on CBS from Madison Square Garden in New York.
