The first interviews for finalists up for the job of Honolulu's Police Chief begin on Monday.

Before the interviews start, the police commission will hold a meeting at 8 a.m. This is a continuation of last week's meeting since Chairman Max Sword recused himself from the selection of the new chief. The commission voted to continue its discussion on that topic this week.

Interviews for the seven finalists will take place Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Island News will continue to bring you the latest information as it becomes available.
