HONOLULU - Big changes ahead at Manoa Valley District Park during the busiest time of the year.

Starting today, one of two gyms will be closed to the public.

The project which will cost more than one million dollars and is expected to last at least six months.

The work will also mean the Manoa pool will be closed through much of the summer.

That could impact the popular Summer Fun activities.
