State gets $7 million to renovate Kalaeloa Airport
Improvements are coming to Kalaeloa Airport in West Oahu.
KALAELOA, Hawaii - Improvements are coming to Kalaeloa Airport in West Oahu.
Senator Mazie Hirono says the state has received more than $7 million from the Federal Aviation Administration.
That money will go toward building 10 new hangar and storage buildings and repairing a current hangar.
Right now, the airport serves civilians as well as the Coast Guard and National Guard operations.
